निळ्या देवमास्याच्या मार्गावर :- भाग ५

प्राण्यांची  भाषा 

  आपल्या अवती भवती कित्येक असे प्राणी, पक्षी तसेच कीटक आहेत ज्यांना आपण नेहमी पाहतो. त्याचा वावर हा आपल्यासाठी काही खास कुतूहलाचा विषय नसतो, परंतु विज्ञानाच्या जगतात प्राण्याची वर्तणूक हि विशेष अशी अभ्यासाची शाखा आहे. आज आपण असे कित्येक गोष्टी प्रगत यांत्रिक गोष्टीचा वापर करत असतो ज्या या प्राण्यांकडून आपण शिकलो आहोत. मग ते मोठे पूल बांधणे असो कि महाकाय असे विमान असोत. माणूस निसर्गात घडणाऱ्या विविध गोष्टीच्या अभ्यासातून खूप काही शिकला आहे. 

  वर मी लिहिलेली कवीता म्हणजे माझ्या अभ्यासात असलेलं काही प्राणी जगताच्या वर्तणूक शास्त्राच्या संशोधनातील प्रश्न आणि वैज्ञानिकांना सापडलेली उत्तरे होत. गेल्या दोन वर्षात ठाणे खाडीत काम करत असताना मी कित्येक लाखो रोहित पक्षी पहिले त्याचा विणीचा हंगाम म्हणजे पक्षी निरीक्षणांची पर्वणी. तसेच गेल्या सहा महिन्यापासून कोकणात येणाऱ्या असंख्य समुद्री कासवे हा अभ्यासाचा आणि निरीक्षणाचा विषय आहे. या सर्व गोष्टी करत असताना मी जे पहिले आणि वाचले त्या गोष्टीना मी या कवितेतून आपल्या समोर आणलं आहे.
